who are marmalade trust?

Marmalade Trust is the UK’s leading loneliness charity offering support for all ages and the only charity in the world specifically dedicated to raising awareness of loneliness. Marmalade launched Loneliness Awareness Week (‘LAW’) in 2017 and it grows in momentum each year across the UK and internationally.

Loneliness Awareness Week is all about creating supportive communities by having conversations with family, friends or colleagues about loneliness, but thanks to the Marmalade Trust, the incredible work continues all year round. Loneliness is a natural human emotion – we are hardwired to need social connections. By talking about it, we can support ourselves and others.

This year, Loneliness Awareness Week is from Monday 12th June – Sunday 18th June.

who are hum4ns?

Recognised as the Top People Advisers (HR & Wellbeing) in the UK by Enterprise Nation and finalists at both the National Start Up Awards and Great British Entrepreneur Awards; HUM4NS is on a quest to help others build happier, healthier, smarter and kinder lives!

At its core, HUM4NS is a personal and professional development tool that takes both human and organisational behaviour and culture from theory and knowledge, to action and habit giving people the tools and techniques they need to thrive personally and professionally.

We work with a range of organisations, business leaders and business owners to develop themselves and their employees through coaching, workshops, tools and strategies, moving beyond the acquisition of knowledge and supporting them to apply it in the real world.

At the heart of HUM4NS is an incredible community of leaders known as the HUM4NBEINGS that are ready to make a difference in the world around them. We believe that connection matters and when we work together, incredible things can happen.

We’re proud supporters of Marmalade Trust and through HUM4NS Talks, provide a safe space for people to connect, belong and be part of an inspirational community.

HOW IS HUM4NS SUPPORTING MARMALADE?

On the 13th July 2023, our Co Founders Olly and Darrell are donating their time, skill and tools to run a full day workshop on the theme ‘Connection Matters’.

Overlaid with the HUM4NS theme’s of happier, healthier, smarter and kinder, the day will help you to Think, Feel and Do, but more importantly, connect with other like-hearted individuals and forge new connections.

Rather than charging for attendance, we’ll be asking for donations to Marmalade Trust, with the minimum donation set at £50 per attendee. With only 50 spaces available, we’re hoping to raise at least £2500 to support the incredible work that Marmalade does in raising awareness of loneliness and empowering people to make connections.

Date: Thursday 13th July

Time: 9.30 – 16.30

Location: Lexus Bristol’s HQ – First Field Way, Patchway, Bristol BS34 5TN

about us:

Recognised by Enterprise Nation as the Top People (HR & Wellbeing) Advisors in the UK, HUM4NS began life as a series of talks among entrepreneurs, providing them with a platform to step out from behind ‘what they do’ and venture into the ‘who I am, what holds me back and how I moved forward’. This platform created an opportunity for ordinary people to share Honest, Uplifting, Motivational, Aspirational, Nourishment for the Soul, inspiring others to take action and build towards achieving their own dreams.

Since formally launching in November 2021, we’ve been on an incredible journey, working with organisations like NatWest and the University of the West of England, being shortlisted for awards at both the National Start Up Awards and Great British Entrepreneur Awards and launching a range of products and services which are genuinely making a positive difference in the lives of others.

We look forward to welcoming you to our incredible community and wish you all the courage on your journey to become happier, healthier, smarter and kinder.
